OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Select List of Section Officers’ Grade for the year 2006, 2007 and 2008 against Examination Quota on the basis of Combined Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2006, 2007 and 2008 held by the Union Public Service Commission.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 16th December, 2011 which conveyed to all concerned cadre units to relieve the officers included in the Section Officers’ SL 2006, 2007 and
2008 of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) on the basis of the results of the Combined SOs/Stenographers(Gr.’B’/Gr.’l’) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2006, 2007 and 2008 conducted by UPSC to join their new place of posting immediately.

2. Some of the officers have yet not been relieved by respective Ministries/Departments to join their new place of posting. Some requests have also been received from Ministries/Departments/individuals for retention within
the same cadre unit /re-allocation to some other cadre unit. The requests of Ministries/Departments/individual officers have been considered in this Division and the competent authority has found it not feasible to accede to the requests for retention/re-allocation of these officers.

3. ln view of the above, The cadre unit authorities are requested to ensure that the officers concerned are relieved immediately to take up the new posting in the cadre unit allocated. The substitutes will be available to the concerned Ministries/Department shortly by way of extension of zone of consideration for ad-hoc promotion.
