Subject: Select List 2009 of Grade I (Under Secretary) of the CSS.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department's O.M. of even number dated 20.12.2011 and subsequent reminders dated 5.1.2012, 19.01.2012, 23.01.2012 and 22.02.2012 on the subject noted above and to state that as Ministries/Departments are aware that the following information has been sought in respect of officers who are covered in the zone of consideration for inclusion in the Select List of Under Secretaries for the year 2009:

(i) Vigilance status;
(ii) Statement of minor/ major penalties;
(iii) Successful completion of mandatory level 'D' training;
(iv) CR dossiers upto 2007-08/ NRCs wherever ACRs were not recorded;
(v) Whether the officers were in service as on 1.7.2009; and,
(vi) Whether they were on deputation or still continuing on deputation

2. However, despite repeated reminders, the requisite information complete in all respects in respect of officers as mentioned in Annexure has not been received yet. In the absence of complete information, this Department is not in a position to send a proposal to the Union Public Service Commission for holding of DPC for US Select List-2009.

3. Ministries/ Departments concerned are, therefore, once again requested to send above mentioned information in respect of the officers as mentioned at Annexure. These officers in their own interest are also requested to pursue with their Administration Division concerned to ensure that the requisite information and the missing ACRs/APARs/NRCs in their respect is furnished to this Department urgently so that US SL 2009 could be finalize^t the earliest.
