CIRCULAR


Sub : Election to the Delegates/Directors of Kendriya Bhandar - reg.

All the members of Central Government Employees Consumer Cooperative Society Limited (Kendriya Bhandar) are hereby informed that the election to the Delegates of Kendriya Bhandar will be held on 9th May, 2012 in Constituency No 05. The nominations are hereby invited for election of the Delegates from the eligible members. Each nomination should be duly proposed and seconded and signed by the candidate concerned in token of the willingness to contest as a candidate. The nomination form may be filed on working days only between 10.00 AM to 5.00 P.M. Nomination papers duly proposed and seconded and countersigned by the candidate
may be submitted to the undersigned (Polling Officer) at Room no. 209 - A, North Block, New Delhi - 01.

2. The scrutiny of nomination papers shall take place in my office on 01.05.2012 at Room no. 209 - A, North Block, New Delhi - 01 The names of the candidates whose candidates are found valid will be announced by the undersigned on 02.05.2012 at 4.00 P.M and will be displayed on the Notice Board

3. The contesting candidates or their proposers or seconders will be allowed to examine the nomination papers and satisfy themselves that the inclusion of the names of the contesting candidate is valid. The last date for withdrawal of nominations will be 03.05.2012 upto 5.00 P.M. The list of the contestants who remain finally in the fray will be announced/circulated/displayed on the Notice Board on 04.05.2012 at 11.00 A.M.

4. The Polling will be held in the Department of Personnel and Training, 2nd   Floor,   Lok   Nayak  B ha van,   Khan   Market,   New   Delhi   and   will commence at 10.00 A.M. on 9th May, 2012 and will continue without break upto 5.00 P.M.   No polling shall be allowed after the hours fixed for polling. The candidate contesting the election may by a letter (Authorization) to the Polling Officer appoint an agent to represent him at the time of polling to identify the voters and to watch the recording of votes.



  1. Ballot boxes will be opened and counting of votes will begin at 11.00 A.M. on 10.05.2012 in the Department of Personnel and Training, 2nd Floor, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi in the presence of the candidates or their authorized agent. The number of votes secured by each candidate and result of the election will be announced by the undersigned as soon as the counting is over itself.
