OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject:- Extension of the term of ad-hoc promotion of Private Secretary as Principal Private Secretary (PPS) of CSSS-reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Deptfs OM of even number dt. 24.10.2011 and to say that the position regarding continuation of ad-hoc promotions in the grade of PPS has been reviewed and it has been decided to:

(a)      extend the term of ad-hoc appointments of those officers who have been empanelled as regular PPS for SLY 2010 vide this Department's OM No. 3/3/2011-CS-ll(A) dated 20.03.2012 till 30.04.2012 or the date of their regular joining whichever is earlier.

(b)      extend the term of the officers, as mentioned in the Annexure to this OM, who have been appointed as ad-hoc PPS, upto 30.09.2012 or till regular PPS become available or until further orders whichever is earlier.

2.   The continuation of ad-hoc promotion of the officers as mentioned in the annexure beyond 31.03.2012 to the post of PPS is purely ad-hoc in nature and shall not confer any right on them to continue in the posts indefinitely or to claim seniority in the grade of PPS of CSSS.
