OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Submission of Immovable Properly Return for the year 2011 (as on 1.1.2012) by the Central Secretariat Service Officers.
The undersigned is to refer to (his Department O.M. of even number dated 4.1.2012 and subsequent reminder dated 21.3.2012 on the subject mentioned above and to say that the immovable Property Return (IPR) for the year 20" 1, as on 1.1.2012, in respect of CSS Officers (Under Secretary and above level) was required to be furnished by 31.1.2012 and to be forwarded to this Division by 28.2.2012 for records. However, the IPR for the year 2011 in respect of a large number of officers are yet to be received in this Division as per the list annexed with this O.M.
2. Administrative Ministries/Departments are. therefore, once again requested that appropriate action may be taken against officers who failed to submit the iPRs within the stipulated date besides ensuring that appropriate entry regarding late submission/non submission of IPRs is made in the relevant Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) of the concerned officer in terms of this Division O.M. No. 10/01/2011 -CS.I(PR) dated 19lh January, 2012. Attention is also invited to this Department O.M. No.11012/11/2007-Estt.A dated 27th September, 2011 stipulating that Group 'A' officers, who do not submit the property return by the prescrioed time would be denied vigilance clearance and will not be considered for promotion and empanelment for senior level posts in Government of India.
3. Administrative Ministries/Departments are. therefore, requested to obtain the IPRs for the year 2011 in respect of the defaulting officers and send the same to this Division without any further delay.
