OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Promotion of Section Officers of the CSS to Grade I (Under Secretary) on ad-hoc basis.

The undersigned is to refer to this Department's O.M. of even number dated 11.05.2012 on the subject mentioned above (available on web-site www.persmin.nic.in —> DoPT —> Central Secretariat —» CSS —» Promotions —> Promotion (Ad-hoc) —> SO to ITS), and to say that the information sought has not yet been received from a number of Ministries/ Departments.

2. As it is proposed to promote officers to the grade of Under Secretary on adhoe basis, Ministries/ Departments concerned are requested to furnish the information and forward the ACR/APAR dossiers in respect of Section Officers upto CSL No. mentioned in the CM. under reference without any further delay. Officers in the zone of consideration are in their own interest to pursue with their Administration Division to ensure that the information sought is furnished urgently as for want of information officers will not be considered by the Screening Committee for adhoe promotion.
